The event was held at the Assembly Hall, with young representatives from across the country participating in discussions on parliamentary processes and policymaking. Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar was also present.

More than 58 cities and towns from Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh, among other states, were represented at the programme. Students from universities, along with representatives of NSS, NCC, youth organisations and educational institutions, took part in the event.

CM Mohan Yadav Calls Youth India’s Biggest Strength

CM Mohan Yadav said India’s large young population is one of the country’s biggest strengths.

He urged young people not to limit themselves to professions such as medicine, engineering and law, but also explore opportunities in politics, policymaking and agriculture.

The Chief Minister stressed that greater participation of the younger generation in democratic institutions is essential to strengthen democracy and ensure that young voices contribute to the country’s future.

Describing the gathering of young representatives from different parts of India as a “Mini India”, he welcomed the participants to Madhya Pradesh.

During his address, the Chief Minister also spoke about the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and described the consultation process as an example of collective participation.

He said suggestions were sought from representatives of different communities and religions, experts and members of the public before moving ahead with the legislation.

According to the Chief Minister, the consultation process reached more than 3.5 crore people, while he claimed that over 76% of Muslim women supported the UCC.

He stressed that the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” should not remain merely a slogan but should be reflected in governance and implementation.

Ayodhya Case and Respect for Judicial Decisions

CM Mohan Yadav also referred to the Ayodhya case while speaking about democratic institutions and the rule of law.

He said respecting and implementing decisions of the judiciary is an important part of a functioning democracy.

CM Mohan Yadav said that India is now independent and the responsibility of the present generation is to further strengthen the country’s reputation and standing globally.
