New Delhi: The Government of India has extended the additional charge of Director (Human Resource) of MOIL Limited to Vishwanath Suresh, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the company, for another year.
According to MOIL’s regulatory disclosure dated September 22, 2026, the extension will take effect from October 1, 2026, and will remain valid for one year or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The decision allows Suresh to continue overseeing the company’s human resource functions alongside his existing responsibilities as CMD.

The extension follows an order issued by the Government of India on September 22, 2026. MOIL subsequently informed the stock exchanges about the continuation of Suresh’s additional responsibility.

Vishwanath Suresh to Continue With Dual Responsibilities
Vishwanath Suresh will continue to discharge the responsibilities of both CMD and Director (Human Resource) at MOIL.
The additional charge was initially assigned to him following the cessation of the previous Director (Human Resource). The latest government order extends this arrangement for another year.
The continuation provides clarity on the leadership of MOIL’s human resource function while the CMD continues to oversee the company’s broader operations.
Extension Follows Earlier HR Leadership Arrangement
MOIL’s earlier communication, referenced as Letter No. CS/NSE-BSE/2026-27/104, had informed the stock exchanges about the cessation of the previous Director (Human Resource) and the assignment of the post’s responsibilities to Vishwanath Suresh as an additional charge.
The latest extension continues the same arrangement from October 1, 2026.
The additional responsibility covers the company’s human resource-related functions alongside Suresh’s regular responsibilities as CMD.
Regulatory Disclosure Made Under SEBI LODR
MOIL has disclosed the government decision to the stock exchanges in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements.
The disclosure has been made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, which requires listed entities to disclose material events and information to stock exchanges.
