Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has set an ambitious development roadmap for the state, directing officials to accelerate reforms across housing, education, industry, water conservation, governance, and social welfare during a high-level review meeting at the state secretariat.

He said the government’s goal is to make Madhya Pradesh a leading state in all sectors under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Focus on Affordable Housing and Urban Development

CM Mohan Yadav directed housing boards and development authorities to ensure affordable housing for citizens at lower costs.

  • Mandatory biometric attendance in all government offices
  • CM-led monitoring of employee punctuality
  • Expansion of e-governance systems
  • Faster grievance redressal mechanisms
  • Digital integration of administrative services

He said these reforms will improve accountability and efficiency.

Healthcare, IVF Centres and Social Welfare Initiatives

CM Mohan Yadav also focused on healthcare expansion and social welfare.

  • Reduction of mandi fee on cotton in Khandwa and Burhanpur to 55 paise
  • Skill training mandates for industries hiring local youth
  • Promotion of industrial clusters and employment zones
  • Support for farmers through market reforms
