Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government’s Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana is providing free coaching and academic guidance to students preparing for some of the country’s major competitive examinations. The initiative is aimed at making structured exam preparation more accessible to students who may otherwise face high expenses for private coaching, study material and expert guidance.
Under the scheme, students can access coaching for examinations including the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), JEE Main, NEET, NDA and CDS, among others.
The programme combines classroom teaching with online learning facilities, allowing students from different parts of the state to access preparation support.
Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana Provides Free Competitive Exam Coaching
The Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana was launched in February 2021 by the Uttar Pradesh government. Initially, the programme operated through coaching centres established at divisional headquarters.
The government subsequently introduced online classes to expand the reach of the scheme and enable students to access lectures and guidance beyond the physical coaching centres.
The initiative focuses on providing students with structured academic support without charging coaching fees.
Under the programme, students receive guidance from subject experts and experienced government officers, helping them prepare for different stages and requirements of competitive examinations.

Aim of Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana
Competitive examinations such as UPSC, UPPSC, JEE Main, NEET, NDA and CDS generally require long-term preparation, study resources and specialised academic guidance.
Private coaching can also involve significant expenditure, which may create an additional challenge for students who cannot afford such services.
The Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana seeks to address this gap by providing free coaching and mentoring through a government-supported programme.
By expanding classroom and online access across Uttar Pradesh, the initiative aims to provide students with a structured preparation pathway for major competitive examinations without requiring them to pay coaching fees.
