New Delhi: North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) has signed a Deed of Agreement (DoA) with the district administration of Baksa, Assam, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for FY 2026-27.
The agreement was signed on September 18, 2026, under the Aspirational District Programme, reflecting NEEPCO’s continued efforts to support development initiatives in the district.
NEEPCO Signs Deed of Agreement with Baksa Administration
The DoA was signed between NEEPCO and the District Administration of Baksa to undertake CSR-related initiatives in the district during the financial year 2026-27.
The agreement signing ceremony was held in the presence of senior officials and public representatives, including:
- Kimnei Changsan, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Baksa
- Thaneswar Basumatary, Hon’ble MLA
- Senior officials of the Baksa District Administration
- Representatives of NEEPCO

Initiative Under Aspirational District Programme
The CSR initiative has been undertaken under the Aspirational District Programme for FY 2026-27.

The signing of the DoA is part of NEEPCO’s broader CSR efforts in Assam and the northeastern region.

The presence of the Deputy Commissioner, MLA and senior district officials at the signing ceremony underlined the importance of coordination between NEEPCO and the district administration for implementing CSR initiatives.
