Guwahati: North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) has partnered with CIPET-CSTS Guwahati to provide placement-linked skill development training to 141 underprivileged and unemployed youths under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme for FY 2026-27.
The Deed of Agreement (DoA) was signed on August 17, 2026, between NEEPCO and the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology – Centre for Skilling & Technical Support (CIPET-CSTS), Guwahati, located at Changsari in Kamrup district of Assam.
NEEPCO to Provide Training to 141 Youths
Under the agreement, NEEPCO will provide placement-linked in-house skill development training to 141 beneficiaries.
The training will focus on Polymer Science & Technology, providing participants with industry-oriented technical skills that can improve their employment prospects.
The programme will be implemented across seven locations of NEEPCO’s operating power stations.
