New Delhi: Nitta Gelatin India Ltd has appointed Mr. Arun K Vijayan IAS as a Non-Executive Nominee Director on its Board of Directors, effective July 14, 2026.
The appointment was made following a change in nomination by the company’s promoter, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (KSIDC). Arun K Vijayan IAS replaces Mr. Vishnuraj P IAS, who ceased to hold the position of Non-Executive Nominee Director on the same date.
The company disclosed the board change through a regulatory filing submitted to BSE Limited under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
KSIDC Nominates Arun K Vijayan IAS to Nitta Gelatin India Board
According to the company’s disclosure, KSIDC communicated the nomination change through a letter dated July 14, 2026.

Nitta Gelatin India confirmed that Arun K Vijayan IAS is not restricted or debarred from holding the office of Director by any order issued by SEBI or any other regulatory authority.
The disclosure was made in compliance with the requirements of SEBI Circular No. List/Comp/14/2018-19 dated June 20, 2018.

Arun K Vijayan IAS: Profile and Professional Background
Mr. Arun K Vijayan IAS is a 2016-batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Kerala cadre.
His educational qualifications include:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical Engineering from BITS Pilani
- Master of Public Administration from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi
Before joining the Board of Nitta Gelatin India, he held important administrative positions, including:
- Director of Industries, Government of Kerala
- Managing Director of Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (KSIDC)
His administrative experience in industrial development and investment promotion is expected to support the company’s strategic initiatives.
Arun K Vijayan IAS Not Related to Other Directors
Nitta Gelatin India stated that Mr. Arun K Vijayan IAS is not related to any other director of the company.
The company also noted that Mr. APM Mohammed Hanish IAS continues to serve as another nominee director representing KSIDC on the Board.
The regulatory filing was signed by Vinod Mohan, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Nitta Gelatin India Ltd.
