Two-Wheeler Road Safety Rally Promotes Public Awareness

To extend safety awareness beyond the workplace, a Two-Wheeler Road Safety Rally was organized from the Corporate Office to the New Services Unit (NSU) in Neyveli Township. Around 120 participants took part in the rally, promoting helmet use and adherence to traffic rules. The initiative aimed to remind both employees and the public about responsible driving to prevent accidents.

Pamphlets highlighting essential road safety measures were distributed to the public through a campaign vehicle moving across the township. Participants were received by the Mine-I team at the B-Point Gate.

Collaborative Efforts Ensure Success of Safety Initiatives

The programme was coordinated by the Corporate Safety Department with support from Mines, Thermal, Technical Advisory (TA), Corporate HR, Corporate Communications, Telecommunications, NLCIL Security, and the New Services Unit. Through these efforts, NLCIL reaffirmed its dedication to fostering a culture of safety both within its workforce and the wider community.
