New Delhi: NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NLC India Limited, has emerged as the successful bidder for a 200 MW ISTS-connected wind power project under SJVN Limited’s 600 MW pan-India wind power tender.
NIRL participated in the Request for Selection (RfS) floated by SJVN for selection of Wind Power Developers for supply of 600 MW wind power from ISTS-connected projects through Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding. Following the bidding process, NIRL was selected for a contracted capacity of 200 MW and has received the Letter of Award (LoA) from SJVN.
The company made the disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

NIRL Wins 200 MW Capacity Through Competitive Bidding
The 200 MW wind project was awarded to NIRL through SJVN’s competitive bidding process. The long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) was won through an e-reverse auction, with a discovered tariff of ₹3.74 per kWh.
The project is expected to generate approximately 526 million units of clean electricity annually, contributing to the expansion of renewable power generation in India.
Inox Wind Gets ₹1,600 Crore Turnkey Contract
To support timely execution of the project, NIRL has already tied up strategic engineering and construction contracts.
A turnkey execution contract worth approximately ₹1,600 crore has been awarded to Inox Wind for the 200 MW wind power project. The arrangements are aimed at meeting the targeted commercial timeline for the project.
Project Strengthens NLC India’s Renewable Energy Portfolio
The 200 MW wind project represents another step in NLC India Group’s clean energy expansion strategy. Through its wholly owned green energy subsidiary NIRL, the group is scaling its renewable energy portfolio and strengthening its presence in the wind power segment.The project, to be developed on a pan-India basis, will add to NIRL’s wind power portfolio while supporting the country’s transition towards cleaner sources of electricity.
