Hyderabad: The Vigilance Department co-hosted a Training of Trainers Programme conducted by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) on September 17, 2026, in Hyderabad. The programme focused on the CVC Master Circulars and Vigilance Manual 2026 for Vigilance Officers of organisations in the South Zone.
The programme brought together around 75 Vigilance Officers and representatives from various South Zone organisations. The sessions focused on recent changes in the Vigilance Manual 2026 and the practical implementation of CVC Master Circulars to strengthen vigilance administration and institutional capacity.
CVC Training Programme Held in Hyderabad
The programme was attended by senior officials from the CVC and Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) of participating public sector organisations.

Around 75 participants from organisations across the South Zone took part in the programme.

Focus on Vigilance Manual 2026 and CVC Master Circulars
The programme provided participants with an overview of the Vigilance Manual 2026, including key changes and their implications for vigilance administration.
CVC officials also explained the provisions and practical relevance of recently issued CVC Master Circulars.
The sessions included interactive discussions, allowing participants to raise queries and seek clarification on various aspects of vigilance functions.
Former CBI Special Director Highlights Preventive Vigilance
The programme was also addressed virtually by Praveen Kumar Sinha, former Special Director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Sinha highlighted the importance of the CVC Master Circulars and the need for periodic revision of the Vigilance Manual.
He also emphasised the rotation of personnel holding sensitive posts as an important preventive vigilance measure.
PSUs Participate in Knowledge-Sharing Programme
Chief Vigilance Officers and senior vigilance officials from several public sector organisations participated in the programme.
Officials from MIDHANI, BDL, ECIL and NMDC were among the participants. C. Neelakanta Reddy, CVO, NMDC, highlighted the importance of understanding and effectively implementing the provisions of the CVC Master Circulars and Vigilance Manual 2026 in vigilance functions.
The participation of officials from different organisations provided a platform for sharing experiences and promoting greater consistency in vigilance practices.
Programme Aims to Strengthen Vigilance Administration
The Training of Trainers Programme focused on knowledge sharing, capacity building and strengthening institutional vigilance mechanisms.
Discussions were aimed at helping participating organisations improve the implementation of vigilance guidelines and promote consistent practices.
The programme also reinforced the participating PSUs’ focus on transparency, probity and effective vigilance administration.
