NRDC Signs MoU with Trubits Innovations to Boost Technology Commercialisation and Startup Innovation

New Delhi/Assam: The National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Trubits Innovations Pvt. Ltd., Assam, to promote technology commercialisation, strengthen industry-academia collaboration and encourage innovation-driven entrepreneurship.

The partnership aims to create stronger pathways for innovative technologies and research outcomes to move from research institutions to the market. It is also expected to support innovators and startups, particularly in the eastern region of India.

NRDC and Trubits Innovations Join Hands to Promote Technology Commercialisation

Under the MoU, NRDC and Trubits Innovations will work together to facilitate the commercialisation of innovative technologies.

The collaboration will focus on:

  • Promoting the commercialisation of new and innovative technologies.
  • Bridging the gap between research institutions and industry.
  • Encouraging entrepreneurship based on emerging technologies.
  • Supporting innovators and startups in taking research outcomes to the market.

The partnership is expected to contribute to the development of an ecosystem where innovative ideas and research can be transformed into commercially viable solutions.

Partnership to Strengthen Industry-Academia Collaboration

MoU Exchanged by NRDC and Trubits Innovations Officials

The MoU was formally exchanged between:

  • Cmde. Amit Rastogi (Retd.), Chairman and Managing Director, National Research Development Corporation (NRDC).
  •  Wrishiraj Kaushik, Director, Trubits Innovations Pvt. Ltd.

Senior officials from both organisations were also present during the MoU exchange.

The agreement marks a step towards building a stronger technology commercialisation ecosystem by bringing together NRDC’s expertise in technology development and commercialisation with Trubits Innovations’ focus on innovation and entrepreneurship.

Partnership to Support Startups and Innovators

The collaboration is expected to provide greater opportunities for innovators and startups to take research-based technologies from the development stage towards commercial application. By promoting industry-academia linkages and encouraging technology-based entrepreneurship, the partnership aims to contribute to India’s broader innovation ecosystem and support the commercialisation of home-grown technologies.
