Vindhyachal: NTPC Vindhyachal successfully organised the NTPC Open Competition for Executive Talent (NOCET) 2026 on August 26, providing executives with a platform to showcase innovative ideas, creativity and practical business solutions.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 11 teams, comprising executives ranging from the Executive Trainee level to Assistant General Manager (AGM).
11 Teams Participate in NOCET 2026
The competition was aimed at encouraging executives to present innovative ideas and solutions that can contribute to organisational performance and operational excellence.
A total of 11 teams participated in the event, demonstrating their ideas and approaches before a panel of senior leaders and an external expert.
The presentations were evaluated by:
- Mr. Kishore Kumar Hota, ED, Vindhyachal
- Mr. M. Suresh, GM, O&M
- Mr. Debabrata Tripathy, GM, TS & Projects
- Mr. Nishant Gupta, Head, Learning & Development, Reliance Power Sasan, as the external judge
Suman Kumar Singh-Led Team Secures First Position
The team comprising Mr. Suman Kumar Singh, AGM (Operation); Mr. Saurabh Banaudha, AGM (IT); Mr. Baljeet Yadav, DGM (Operation); and Smt Saswati Garnaik, Senior Manager (IT) secured the first position in NOCET 2026.
The team demonstrated its approach towards innovative and impactful solutions, earning the top spot among the participating teams.
Dheer Singh Chauhan Team Secures Second Position
The second position was secured by Mr. Dheer Singh Chauhan, DGM (C&I), and Mr. Utkarsh Shukla, Engineer (C&I).
The competition provided participants with an opportunity to demonstrate their professional expertise and present ideas focused on improving organisational performance.
Third Position Secured by Operation and P&S Team
The team comprising the following executives secured the third position:
- Mr. Deepak Kumar, Senior Manager (Operation)
- Mr. Nilesh Nayan, Senior Manager (P&S)
- Mr. Shivam Verma, Engineer (Operation)
- Mr. Sajid Nezam, Senior Assistant Engineer (Operation)
The results reflected the strong participation and competitive spirit demonstrated by executives across different levels and functional areas.
