The state government of Odisha has promoted 12 IPS officer as ADG, IG and DIG. The order which was issued by General Administration and Public Grievances department will be made effective from 1st January 2024. According to that, Ghanashya Upadhya has been promoted to ADG rank. He is an IPS of 1996 batch currently on central deputation.
Besides him, Anup Kumar Sahu, Amrita Das, Aniruddha Kumar Singh, Anoop Krishna, Sudha Singh has been promoted as IGs. They all are from 2006 batch.
Mitrabhanu Mohapatra, Sara Sharma, Kanwar Vishal Singh, Ashish Kumar Singh, Parul Gupta, K Siva Subramani has been promoted as DIG.
