Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg, a 1991-batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre, has launched a dedicated Odisha State e-Pavilion on MSME Global Mart, creating a digital showcase for the state’s micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and their products.
The e-Pavilion was launched on Thursday in the presence of National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) Chairman and Managing Director Dr Subhransu Sekhar Acharya. The initiative is aimed at improving the visibility of Odisha-based enterprises and giving them structured access to domestic and international digital commerce opportunities.
Digital Platform to Showcase Odisha Enterprises
The new e-Pavilion will bring together a range of products and enterprises from Odisha on the MSME Global Mart platform.

It will showcase:
- One District One Product (ODOP) products
- GI-tagged products from Odisha
- Products from industrial and business clusters
- Artisan enterprises
- Other MSME products from the state
The MSME Global Mart platform is operated by NSIC and is designed to connect Indian MSMEs with buyers and business opportunities, including export markets.
Odisha, NSIC Seek Greater MSME Market Access
Before the launch, Acharya held discussions with Garg on measures to strengthen Odisha’s MSME ecosystem. He also briefed the Chief Secretary on NSIC initiatives, including the National SC-ST Hub, TEAM Initiative and SRI Fund.
Both sides agreed on greater convergence between NSIC and the Odisha government to improve the competitiveness of MSMEs and connect them with wider markets.
Garg stressed a “Government as a Whole” approach to support digital enablement, inclusive procurement and enhanced market access for MSMEs.
Focus on Local Products and Global Reach
The initiative is expected to provide Odisha’s MSMEs with greater digital visibility while creating opportunities to take locally produced goods to wider markets.
The e-Pavilion also aligns with the broader objectives of Digital India, Make in India and Vocal for Local, with a focus on strengthening the market presence and competitiveness of enterprises from the state.
