ONGC Director Vikram S Inaugurates 41st IADC South Central Asia Technology Meet on Efficiency and Innovation

New Delhi: Mr. Vikram S, Director (Technology & Field Services) at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and Chairman of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) – South Central Asia (SCA) Chapter, inaugurated the 41st IADC SCA Chapter Technology Meet. The two-day event was held under the theme “Sixty Dollar Mindset: Technology, Efficiency & Survival”, emphasizing cost discipline, innovation, and operational excellence in the oil and gas sector.

Focus on Efficiency, Innovation, and Sustainable Practices

The technology meet brought together industry leaders, drilling professionals, service providers, and young engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration. Participants explored ways to enhance efficiency, adopt digital solutions, and strengthen cooperation between operators, contractors, and service companies to improve drilling performance.

The discussions highlighted the importance of standardisation, preparedness, and faster decision-making as critical factors for sustainable growth and maintaining leadership in the competitive energy sector.
