Gurugram: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has successfully commissioned its “Transmission Network Expansion in Gujarat to increase ATC from ISTS, Part-B” project, marking a key step in strengthening India’s interstate power transmission infrastructure.
The company confirmed that the project has been commissioned with effect from May 13, 2026, while the Declaration of Commercial Operation (DOCO) confirmation was received on June 3, 2026, as per regulatory disclosure.
Disclosure Under SEBI Listing Regulations
The commissioning was officially communicated to stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
According to the filing, the project has now entered commercial operation, reinforcing compliance with mandatory disclosure norms and marking completion of key execution milestones.
Focus on Increasing ATC from ISTS in Gujarat
The transmission project is designed to enhance the Available Transfer Capability (ATC) from the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) in Gujarat.
This improvement is expected to:
