Gurugram: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has released a Hindi technical book titled “Akshay Urja ke Vidyut Grid Samanvayan mein HVDC Pranali ki Bhumika”, which translates to “Role of HVDC Systems in Grid Integration of Renewable Energy.”
The book was released during Hindi Diwas 2026 and the 6th Akhil Bharatiya Rajbhasha Sammelan held in Navi Mumbai.
Hindi Technical Book Released at Rajbhasha Sammelan
The technical publication was released by Nityanand Rai and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Ministers of State for Home Affairs, in the presence of Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), POWERGRID.
The publication focuses on the increasingly important role of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems in integrating renewable energy with the electricity grid.
The book seeks to explain complex concepts related to HVDC technology and renewable energy integration in simple and accessible Hindi.

- Average transmission system availability of more than 99.84%
