Bengaluru: Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has secured fresh orders worth ₹572 crore from institutional and military customers, strengthening its position in India’s defence electronics sector.
The company informed the stock exchanges on Monday, July 13, 2026, through a regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) and BSE Limited under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The disclosure was authorised by S. Sreenivas, Company Secretary, BEL.
BEL Orders Cover Defence Electronics and Strategic Solutions
According to the company’s official communication, the newly received orders have been accumulated sequentially after its previous operational disclosure on June 22, 2026.
The fresh order inflow covers multiple technology areas, including defence, aviation, and strategic civilian applications.
Key segments involved in the orders include:
- Communication equipment
- Advanced encryptors and secure communication systems
- Avionics systems and upgrades
- Tank sub-systems and armoured vehicle solutions
- Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs)
- Batteries and industrial components
- Spare parts and allied equipment
- System upgrades and engineering services
BEL has not disclosed the names of customers or specific projects associated with these orders.

Communication and Defence Technology Segments Drive Growth
The new contracts include advanced communication solutions designed to support secure military networks and tactical operations.
The company will also supply avionics-related systems, navigation hardware, and electronic subsystems for aviation platforms.
In addition, BEL will provide specialised solutions for armoured vehicles, including high-precision tank sub-systems and upgrade support.
The orders also include lifecycle support services involving spare parts, allied components, and technical assistance, helping ensure long-term operational readiness of defence systems.
