New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Limited has secured a ₹16.20 crore contract from the Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (HARTRON) to manage the Haryana State Wide Area Network (HSWAN). The order further strengthens RailTel’s role in India’s government digital infrastructure and managed network services sector.
The company disclosed the development through a regulatory filing submitted to the stock exchanges on Thursday.
RailTel Awarded HSWAN Operation and Management Contract
RailTel has received a Work Order to serve as the Managed Service Provider (MSP) for the Operation and Management (O&M) of the Haryana State Wide Area Network (HSWAN).
Under the contract, the company will be responsible for managing and maintaining the HSWAN network, which provides secure communication and connectivity services to various government departments and offices across Haryana.
The project is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2027.

According to the company’s regulatory filing:
- Contract Value: ₹16.20 crore (including applicable taxes)

RailTel stated that it received the work order on July 2, 2026, at 12:30 PM.

No Related Party Transaction
RailTel clarified that the contract has been awarded by a domestic government entity and confirmed that:
- Neither the company’s promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in HARTRON.
- The transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction under applicable regulations.
These disclosures were made as part of the company’s stock exchange filing to ensure regulatory transparency.
