Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has transferred 14 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers in a reshuffle involving senior police positions in Jaipur as well as the district police leadership of Sikar, Dausa, Phalodi and Sirohi.
The changes were issued through orders of the state Department of Personnel on October 3.
Key Changes in Jaipur Police Commissionerate
The reshuffle brings changes to several key positions within the Jaipur Police Commissionerate, with the following officers receiving new assignments:
- Ajay Singh (IPS: 2009: RJ) has been appointed Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Jaipur Police Commissionerate. He was earlier Additional Commissioner of Police-I in Jaipur.
- Dr Rameshwar Singh (IPS: 2009: RJ) has been moved from DIG, Anti-Corruption Bureau-I, Jaipur, to Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime), Jaipur Police Commissionerate.
- Vikas Sharma (IPS: 2010: RJ) has been transferred from DIG, Personnel, Police Headquarters, Jaipur, to DIG, SSB, Jaipur.
- Dr Rajiv Pachar (IPS: 2010: RJ) has been moved from Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Jaipur, to DIG, Personnel, Police Headquarters, Jaipur.

More Changes at Police Headquarters and Jaipur
At the Police Headquarters in Jaipur, the reshuffle also includes the following changes in key postings:
- Manish Agrawal (IPS: 2010: RJ) has been transferred from SP, Rules, Police Headquarters, Jaipur, to SP, State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB), Jaipur.
- Yogesh Goyal (IPS: 2013: RJ) has been moved from DCP, Traffic, Jaipur Police Commissionerate, to DCP, Crime, Jaipur.
- Sanjeev Nain (IPS: 2013: RJ) has been appointed SP, Sikar, after serving as DCP, Crime, Jaipur.
- Praveen Nayak Nunavath (IPS: 2019: RJ), who was serving as SP, Sikar, will take charge as DCP, Traffic, Jaipur.
New SPs for Phalodi, Dausa and Sirohi
The reshuffle also assigns new superintendents of police to Phalodi, Dausa and Sirohi, with the following officers taking charge:
- Satnam Singh (IPS: 2015: RJ), who was SP, Phalodi, has been posted as SP, Special Operations Group (SOG), Jaipur.
- Aditya Kakade (IPS: 2022: RJ) has been appointed SP, Phalodi. He was earlier Commandant of the 9th Battalion, RAC, Tonk.
- Piyush Dixit (IPS: 2016: RJ) has been transferred from SP, Dausa, to SP, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Jaipur.
- Kundan Kanwaria (IPS: 2018: RJ), formerly SP, SOG, Jaipur, has been appointed SP, Dausa.
- Pushpendra Singh Rathore (IPS: 2016: RJ) has been transferred from SP, Sirohi, to Commandant, 7th Battalion, RAC, Bharatpur.
- Ajey Singh Rathore (IPS: 2022: RJ), who was Commandant of the 7th Battalion, RAC, Bharatpur, has been appointed SP, Sirohi.
Four Districts Get New Police Chiefs
The reshuffle changes the SPs of Sikar, Dausa, Phalodi and Sirohi. The new appointments are:
- Sikar: Sanjeev Nain (IPS: 2013: RJ)
- Dausa: Kundan Kanwaria (IPS: 2018: RJ)
- Phalodi: Aditya Kakade (IPS: 2022: RJ)
- Sirohi: Ajey Singh Rathore (IPS: 2022: RJ)
The reshuffle also reallocates responsibilities in Jaipur’s crime, traffic and law-and-order wings and at the state Police Headquarters.
