New Delhi: REC Limited‘s Corporate Office in Gurugram has been honoured by the Antarrashtriya Hindi Parishad for its outstanding contribution to the promotion and propagation of Hindi and effective implementation of the Official Language in its day-to-day operations.
The award was presented at a prestigious ceremony held at the Bihar Legislative Assembly Hall in Patna on August 27, 2026.
REC Receives Prestigious Hindi Award
The recognition was conferred by Nagaland Governor Mr. Nandkishore Yadav and Bihar Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Prem Kumar.
Several distinguished personalities attended the ceremony, including:
- Former Governor of Sikkim Mr. Ganga Prasad
- Former Union Minister Mr. Ashwini Kumar Choubey
- Former Union Minister Mr. Sanjay Paswan
- Former DGP of Bihar Mr. Alok Raj
Mr. S.K. Bage, Senior General Manager and Chief Programme Manager (CPM), REC Patna office, received the award on behalf of REC.

REC Focuses on Effective Use of Hindi
The award recognises REC’s sustained efforts towards the implementation and promotion of the Official Language, Hindi.

- Effective implementation of the Official Language policy
- Promotion of Hindi through modern technologies
