New Delhi: RITES Limited, a leading transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering company, has secured a prestigious Letter of Award (LoA) from NTPC Limited. The award pertains to the Biennial MGR Mega Contract at the NTPC Mouda Super Thermal Power Project in Maharashtra.
Key Responsibilities Under the Contract
As part of the LoA, RITES will oversee critical operations at the project site. These include:
- Maintenance of signalling and telecommunication systems and railway track.
- Operation of the Merry-Go-Round (MGR) system.
- Handling of the Down Take-Up (DU) system.
This contract reinforces RITES’ technical expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure projects for the power sector.
