New Delh: The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Government of India, has approved the entrustment of additional charge of the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), NEPA Limited, Nepanagar, Madhya Pradesh, to Rohit Kumar Mishra, IOFS (2009).
Mishra is currently serving as CVO of Bridge & Roof Company (India) Ltd. (BRCIL), Kolkata. He will hold the additional responsibility of CVO, NEPA Limited, for one year or until a regular CVO is appointed, whichever is earlier.
Rohit Kumar Mishra Gets Additional CVO Charge
The competent authority has approved the proposal to entrust Mishra with the additional charge of CVO, NEPA Limited.

- Service: Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS), 2009 batch
- Current position: CVO, Bridge & Roof Company (India) Ltd., Kolkata
- Additional charge: CVO, NEPA Limited, Nepanagar, Madhya Pradesh
- Tenure: One year, or until a regular CVO is appointed, or until further orders
- Effective period: Whichever is earliest
The decision was taken by the Competent Authority based on a proposal received from the Ministry of Heavy Industries.
DoPT Issues Order on Additional Charge
The order was issued by Kanmani Joy, Director, Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), on September 9, 2026.
Copies of the order have also been forwarded to the Central Vigilance Commission and other concerned offices for information and necessary action.
The arrangement will ensure that the vigilance responsibilities at NEPA Limited continue to be handled until a regular CVO is appointed.
NEPA CVO Post Vacant Since December 2025
The CVO position at NEPA Limited has remained without a regular incumbent following the premature repatriation of Vinit Kumar (IRS-C&CE:2013) to his parent cadre.
Vinit Kumar had been serving as CVO, NEPA Limited, since September 2023. He was initially appointed for a three-year tenure but was prematurely repatriated in December 2025.
Following his repatriation, the company did not have a regular incumbent in the CVO position, leading to the latest arrangement of entrusting the additional charge to Rohit Kumar Mishra.
