New Delhi: Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has announced its audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026, showcasing strong growth in profitability and operational performance.

The state-owned shipping major reported a sharp rise in net profit along with improved margins and steady revenue growth for FY26.

FY26 Standalone Results: Profit Surges Nearly 63%

SCI posted a standalone net profit of ₹1,326 crore in FY26, marking a 62.9% increase compared to ₹814 crore in FY25.

Key Standalone Highlights (FY26)

  • Net Profit: ₹1,326 crore (↑62.9% YoY)
  • Profit Before Tax (PBT): ₹1,396 crore (↑69.8%)
  • Revenue from Operations: ₹5,778 crore
  • Earnings Per Share (EPS): ₹28.47

The company delivered an exceptional performance in the March 2026 quarter.

Q4 Standalone Highlights

  • Net Profit: ₹414 crore (↑140% YoY)
  • Profit Before Tax: ₹425 crore (↑167% YoY)
  • Revenue from Operations: ₹1,513 crore (↑14.2% YoY)

Dividend Announcement for Shareholders

SCI’s Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹1 per equity share (10% on face value of ₹10) for FY26.

  • Total Dividend Outgo: ₹46.58 crore (approx.)
  • Subject to approval at AGM
  • Payment within 30 days after approval

Including subsidiaries and joint ventures, SCI also reported strong consolidated results.

  • PPE: ₹7,031 crore
  • Trade Receivables: ₹1,192 crore

Cost Efficiency and Operational Gains

SCI reported improved cost control during FY26:

  • Cost of Services: ₹2,763 crore (down from ₹3,091 crore)
  • Employee Expenses: ₹584 crore
  • Depreciation & Amortisation: ₹1,064 crore
  • Other Income: ₹169 crore (including tax refund interest)

Clean Audit Report

The company received an unmodified (clean) audit opinion from its statutory auditors, confirming compliance with SEBI regulations.
