Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has directed officials to organise the Seva Sankalp Campaign from September 17 to October 17, marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday and highlighting his 25 years of public service.
Reviewing preparations at Mantralaya, CM Yadav said the campaign should become a platform for public participation and direct dialogue with citizens. He directed departments to highlight major development achievements and create awareness about welfare schemes reaching people.
Districts to Organise Public-Welfare Activities
The Chief Minister directed that Jan Vishwas Campaign activities also be included in Seva Sankalp programmes. Special public-welfare and citizen-interaction programmes will be organised every Friday across districts.
District development booklets will be distributed widely, while ministers will regularly review activities in their departments and districts. A date-wise action plan will also be prepared for every district.

Grand Diya Ceremony at Mahakal Lok
A large-scale diya-lighting programme will be organised at Mahakal Lok, Ujjain, on September 17. Similar programmes will be held at locations where PM Modi has inaugurated major projects or laid foundation stones.
Activities will also highlight the impact of the Narmada Project, Sardar Sarovar Dam, Ken-Betwa Link Project and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Project, along with improved connectivity and economic activity resulting from major road projects.
13 Programmes Under the Campaign
The campaign will feature 13 major initiatives, including Aashirwad Ka Diya, Namo Seva Gatha, Aangan Ka Utsav, Kahani Badlav Ki, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Seva Jyoti Yatra, Seva Mera Yogdan, Seva Setu Abhiyan, Rangoli Rashtra, National Innovation Challenge and Jan Sevak Mahakumbh.
Under Bharat of 25 Crore Children’s Dreams, drawing and speech competitions will be held from September 17 to October 7 in government and private schools.
Women and Community Service in Focus
Aangan Ka Utsav will run from September 25 to October 7 at Anganwadi centres, focusing on nutrition, vaccination, maternal support, women’s welfare and child development. Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers and beneficiary mothers will also be recognised.
Under Seva Mera Yogdan, citizens will participate in blood donation, tree plantation, cleanliness drives, health camps, waste segregation, digital literacy, road safety and cyber-security awareness activities from September 17 to October 17.
Seva Setu to Take Schemes to Citizens
Under Seva Setu Abhiyan – Sarkar Aapke Dwar, camps will be organised at Assembly constituency level. Seva Setu Centres will help eligible citizens access government schemes, submit applications and receive assistance.
The National Innovation Challenge will engage students, youth, start-ups and grassroots innovators through exhibitions, demonstrations and expert sessions.
Campaign to Conclude on October 17
The campaign will conclude with Jan Sevak Mahakumbh – Panchayat Se Parliament Tak on October 17, bringing together sarpanches and public representatives.
A collective rendition of all six verses of Vande Mataram will be attempted for a Guinness World Records entry. The programme will also feature a presentation on PM Modi’s 25 years of public service and a collective pledge for Viksit Bharat.
