Patna: The Bihar Government’s Industries Department, through Startup Bihar, organised a statewide “Scale-Up & Market Access” programme across all 38 districts of the state on the occasion of World Entrepreneurship Day 2026.
The programme was conducted through 47 Startup Cells and witnessed participation from more than 6,000 current and aspiring innovators.
With the theme “Scale beyond the idea. Reach beyond the market” and the message “Start Local. Scale Global,” the initiative focused on helping startups move beyond the idea and early stages towards product commercialisation, market access, business expansion and sustainable growth.
Startup Bihar Focuses on Scaling Startups and Market Access
The statewide programme aimed to strengthen support for startups at the district level and provide entrepreneurs with practical opportunities to scale their businesses.
The initiative focused on helping startups progress through different stages:
- Innovation to Product

- Market to Scale
The programme also sought to make Bihar’s startup ecosystem more inclusive, market-oriented and accessible beyond major cities.
