Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav ordered the suspension of District Registrar Cooperative S.K. Kaushik during his Tikamgarh visit on August 21 after reviewing a complaint under the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan.
The action followed a grievance raised by Dayaram Lodhi, who alleged that the Mawai branch of the Cooperative Bank had not transferred money to the nominee’s account after the death of his mother, Rani Bai.
CM Reviews CM Helpline Complaints
Dr Yadav directly heard complaints from several residents and directed officials to ensure their timely and effective resolution. He interacted with Mahesh Prasad Lodhi, Kamlesh Namulia, Dayaram Lodhi, Kalicharan Singh Rajput and Hariram Vishwakarma to understand their cases.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to regularly visit the field and monitor the implementation of government schemes. He stressed that public grievances should not remain pending and that area-specific issues must receive proper attention.

Negligence to Invite Action
Dr Yadav said officials and employees who show negligence in their duties will face action. At the same time, government employees who perform well will receive recognition.
The suspension of the district cooperative registrar signals a stricter approach towards grievance redressal and accountability at the district level.

Fair Price Shops Also Reviewed
The Chief Minister also reviewed the functioning of government fair price shops in Tikamgarh. Officials discussed steps to ensure that shops operate from their designated locations and provide services properly to beneficiaries.
The meeting was attended by Minister of State (Independent Charge) and Tikamgarh district in-charge minister Krishna Gaur, former minister and Jatara MLA Harishankar Khatik, Chief Secretary Ashok Barnwal, Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr Sudam Khade, Public Relations Commissioner Manish Singh, Tikamgarh Collector Vivek Shrotriya and other officials.
The visit highlighted the government’s focus on direct grievance monitoring, field-level supervision and accountability among officials.
