Faster Resolution of Electricity Complaints

The month-long camps are being held at division and sub-division levels across Uttar Pradesh.

The initiative covers several common consumer issues:

Meter and Digital Services See High Disposal

The camps have also processed thousands of other service requests.

  • Faulty meters: 3,089 of 4,745 replacement requests completed.
  • Tariff changes: 1,870 of 2,099 applications processed.

These services are designed to reduce the need for consumers to make repeated visits to electricity offices.

1912 and Online Platforms Available

Consumers can also register electricity-related complaints through the toll-free number 1912, chatbot and online platforms.

The special camps will continue across Uttar Pradesh until August 31, 2026.

By combining physical camps with digital grievance channels, the electricity department aims to provide consumers with faster, transparent and convenient services while improving local-level complaint resolution.
