The World Economic Forum will convene its 56th Annual Meeting in Davos from January 19 to January 23, 2026. The event will bring together nearly 3,000 leaders from more than 130 countries at a time marked by heightened geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainty and rapid technological transformation.
The meeting will be held under the theme “A Spirit of Dialogue”, aiming to provide an impartial platform for leaders from government, business and civil society to reconnect, rebuild trust and explore collaborative solutions to global challenges that increasingly transcend national borders.
Global Challenges in Focus
This year’s programme is shaped by major global developments, including geopolitical realignments, slowing economic growth, trade frictions and accelerating technological change. Through sessions on geopolitics, global growth and governance, participants will examine ways to renew cooperation amid strained alliances, contested norms and eroding trust.
