Dehradun: BJP Uttarakhand State Spokesperson Ravindra Jugran met Director General of Police (DGP) Deepam Seth at Police Headquarters and raised the issue of vacant posts in the state police department.
Jugran urged the police chief to expedite recruitment for vacant constable and sub-inspector posts, stressing that filling these positions would strengthen the force and improve law-and-order management.
Jugran Seeks Early Recruitment
During the meeting, Jugran requested the DGP to send details of vacant posts to the Home Department of the Uttarakhand Government and secure the necessary approval for issuing the recruitment notification without delay.
He said timely recruitment is important to ensure adequate manpower in the police force and improve its operational efficiency.

DGP Assures Necessary Action
DGP Deepam Seth responded positively to the request and said the matter is already under consideration within the police department.
He assured Jugran that necessary steps would be taken at the earliest to fill vacant positions for police constables and sub-inspectors.
Jugran welcomed the assurance and expressed hope that the recruitment process would now move forward quickly.
