Uttarakhand : Three IPS Officer Including Sweety Agarwal Promoted As IG.

Three IPS officer of 2006 batch and serving as Deputy Inspector General of Police has been promoted to the rank of IG. The step was taken after a meeting in chairmanship of Chief Secretary Uttarakhand Government in Uttarakhand Secretariat. According to the orders, Ms. Sweety Agarwal, Mr. Arun Mohan Joshi, Mr. Anant Shankar Takwale and Mr. Rajeev Swaroop will be granted the promotion with effect from January 01, 2024. As Ms. Sweety Aggarwal is on deputation, she has been granted performance promotion.

Besides them, IPS officer Superintendent of Police Sukhbir Singh has been promoted to the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police. He is an IPS officer of 2010 batch.
