Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a Janta Darshan in Gorakhpur on September 24, hearing grievances submitted by residents and directing officials concerned to examine and address the complaints.
Citizens submitted written applications during the interaction, which the Chief Minister reviewed. Copies of the complaints were handed over to the concerned officials for further action.
₹12,000-Crore LDA Projects in Lucknow
Later in the day, Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to perform the bhoomi poojan for two Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) schemes — Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar.

The two projects cover around 10,680 acres and involve a stated investment of ₹12,000 crore. The Chief Minister is also scheduled to launch the registration process for plots under the schemes.
Five Apartment Projects Worth ₹2,166 Crore
The Chief Minister is also scheduled to lay the foundation stone for five multi-storey apartment complexes with a combined stated cost of ₹2,166 crore.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place at Dona village along the Agra Expressway.
3,567 Teachers and Principals Receive Appointment Letters
Earlier, on September 22, Yogi Adityanath distributed appointment letters to 3,567 candidates selected for posts in non-government-aided secondary schools through the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission. The Uttar Pradesh government’s Information and Public Relations Department has also recorded the event.
The appointments cover the posts of principals, headmasters, lecturers (PGT) and assistant teachers (TGT).
Addressing the selected candidates, Yogi Adityanath said:
“The responsibility of a teacher is not only to complete the syllabus, but also to protect the students from all kinds of negativity and ensure their all-round development, which is a grave duty of all of you.”
He congratulated the selected candidates and their families and said the state government was working with major industrial groups to develop new skill-development programmes in Uttar Pradesh.
