CM Yogi Adityanath Launches ₹636 Crore Development Projects in Hamirpur to Accelerate Bundelkhand Growth

Hamirpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday accelerated development efforts in Uttar Pradesh’s Bundelkhand region by inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for projects worth over ₹636 crore in Hamirpur district. The initiatives span key sectors including roads, water supply, health, education, and agriculture.

During the event, the Chief Minister also distributed tools, certificates, cheques, and laptops to beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes.

₹636 Crore Projects to Boost Infrastructure and Local Economy

The projects launched in Hamirpur are aimed at strengthening core infrastructure and improving public services. Key focus areas include:

  • Road construction and connectivity improvement
  • Expansion of drinking water supply systems
  • Strengthening healthcare facilities
  • Upgradation of education infrastructure
  • Agricultural development initiatives

Officials said these projects are expected to boost the local economy, generate employment opportunities, and improve living standards in the region.

“25 Crore People Are My Family,” Says CM Yogi

Addressing the gathering, CM Yogi Adityanath said that the 25 crore citizens of Uttar Pradesh are his family, and governance is being driven with a commitment to public welfare.

He emphasized that when policies are designed with genuine public service intent and implemented effectively, they deliver strong and visible results on the ground.

Focus on Bundelkhand’s Transformation

The Chief Minister highlighted that Bundelkhand, once known for water scarcity and lack of infrastructure, is now witnessing rapid transformation due to sustained development efforts.

He reiterated that the government’s goal is balanced regional development so that no district remains backward.

Welfare Distribution and Public Engagement

As part of the programme, CM Yogi distributed:

  • Tool kits
  • Certificates
  • Cheques
  • Laptops

These were provided to beneficiaries under various government welfare schemes aimed at promoting self-reliance and employment.

He also encouraged people to become self-dependent and actively participate in the state’s development journey.

Strong Message on Security and Governance

During his address in Ratha, CM Yogi highlighted improvements in law and order, education, water conservation, and governance.

He stated that Uttar Pradesh has moved beyond identity crises and is now recognized for development and good governance.

He also made a strong remark on women’s safety, saying that strict action will be taken against anyone attempting to threaten security in the state.

Water Conservation and Rural Development Emphasized

The Chief Minister urged citizens to focus on water conservation, rainwater harvesting, and tree plantation.

He also highlighted the importance of schemes like Har Ghar Nal (tap water to every home) and stressed responsible use of water resources, especially in Bundelkhand.

Cultural Identity and National Development

CM Yogi also referred to India’s cultural heritage, including the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, stating that the country is strengthening its civilizational identity while progressing economically and socially.

Local beneficiaries and residents welcomed the development initiatives, stating that the projects would significantly transform Hamirpur and accelerate Bundelkhand’s growth.

Anganwadi workers also raised concerns regarding their issues, while local representatives expressed optimism about future educational and infrastructure improvements in the region.
