‘Janseva Se Deshseva’ Exhibition Showcases Modi’s Journey
During the programme, Yogi visited the ‘Janseva Se Deshseva’ exhibition.
The exhibition presented aspects of Modi’s public-service journey and formed part of the wider celebrations marking his 25 years in public life.
The Lucknow programme brought together the themes of public service and the government’s broader Viksit Bharat vision.
Yogi Highlights Welfare and Infrastructure
Yogi highlighted several initiatives while speaking about Modi’s development record.
Among the areas he mentioned were:
- Free ration for around 80 crore people
- LPG connections for households
- Growth of the startup ecosystem
- Expansion of highways and expressways
- Development of inland waterways in Uttar Pradesh
He also pointed to the development of infrastructure and new economic opportunities as important elements of the broader development agenda.
The focus on highways, expressways and waterways is particularly relevant to Uttar Pradesh because improved connectivity can support movement of people and goods, strengthen logistics and connect economic centres with wider markets.
Inland Waterways in Uttar Pradesh
Yogi also referred to the development of inland waterways in Uttar Pradesh.
Waterways can provide an additional transport option for cargo movement and form part of a wider multimodal logistics network. Their development is intended to improve connectivity while supporting trade and economic activity.
By highlighting waterways alongside highways and expressways, the Chief Minister underlined the broader infrastructure expansion associated with the state’s development narrative.
Political Reference to Upcoming UP Elections
The Chief Minister also made a political reference during his address.
Taking an indirect swipe at the Samajwadi Party, Yogi said the recent Rajya Sabha elections had indicated the likely direction of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
He described the political contest as returning to an “80-20” formulation, saying 80 per cent represented the NDA while 20 per cent represented the PDA. He added that the fate of the PDA would become clear later.
The remarks brought a political dimension to an event otherwise centred on Modi’s public-service journey and the Viksit Bharat vision. Recent reporting also confirms Yogi’s reference to the Rajya Sabha contest while discussing the 2027 Assembly elections.
Collective Viksit Bharat Pledge
Following Yogi Adityanath’s address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually administered a collective pledge to citizens across the country to contribute towards building a ‘Viksit Bharat’.
The pledge formed part of the nationwide programme marking Modi’s 25 years in public life.
The event therefore combined public-service commemoration with the larger message of building a developed India through citizen participation.
Development and Public Service at the Centre
The Lucknow programme brought together three broad themes—Modi’s 25-year public-service journey, development achievements highlighted by the government and the vision of a developed India.
For Uttar Pradesh, the emphasis on infrastructure, welfare and waterways also connects the national development narrative with projects and programmes that have a direct impact on the state.
The event also showed how the Viksit Bharat campaign is being used to connect development messaging with citizen participation through public gatherings, exhibitions, yatras and collective pledges.
