Madhya Pradesh is gearing up for assembly elections scheduled on November 17, with a concerted effort by the district administration to maximize voter turnout. As part of an awareness campaign, an event was organized during the Garba Mahotsav where Burhanpur Collector Bhavya Mittal administered an oath to the attendees, urging them to vote. A specially crafted voting awareness song was unveiled during the event.

Collector Bhavya Mittal announced that voting awareness songs would be played wherever Navadurga idols were installed in the district. The aim is to ensure that the message of voting awareness resonates alongside the traditional Mataji’s songs in every pandal.
The Collector actively encouraged people to exercise their voting rights and administered the oath during the event. Even children participated, taking the pledge and expressing their determination to motivate their parents to vote.
