Indian Masterminds Stories

Recently, Vinay Kumar G B, the founder of Insight IAS shared a tweet, where he shared a story about a UPSC aspirant who faced adversities in life but still managed to crack the tough UPSC CSE.

His tweet says –

“Met a UPSC aspirant yesterday who is going through tough time. Father died 10 years ago. Mother recently got diagnosed with cancer & is undergoing chemotherapy. She left her job to prepare for UPSC. After 2 attempts haven’t cleared prelims. As I have seen she has been very sincere & hardworking aspirant. Has two sisters- younger one preparing for NEET. Elder one is married & happy. This girl is anxious & worried because she is not earning and has to depend on her sister & mother. She is talented. Her mains preparation is very good. Cleared CSAT this year but have scored around 75 in GS paper. Since prelims she is not able to focus on preparation due to anxiety.”

He further shared how it is important to face your obstacles and clear your goals through his tweet. He wrote: “Point is you may think your life is difficult right now. But there are many who are facing even more worse situations and somehow chasing their dreams. We need to hold ourselves together and support each other.”

The tweet has garnered 25.8k views, 55 retweets, and 879 likes!
