The Patiala district administration organised the Patiala Heritage Festival at the Kennel’s club where an All Breed Championship was organised. The show was attended by Media Director to CM Baltej Pannu, MLA Ajitpal Kohli, IG MS Chhina, SSP Patiala.
A total of 230 dogs of 40 breeds participated in the show which included breed like German Shepherd, Labrador, Rottweiler, Golden Retriever, Beagle. While visitors from Jammu, UP, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Jharkhand attended the event.
Great Dane, King Cavaliers Charles spaniel, Jack Russel Terrier, Barnese Mountain Dog, Maltese breeds participated for the first time in Patiala. Douge DeBordeaux, Cane Corso, ShihTzu, Samoyed and Siberian Husky were the main attraction of the show.
Patiala is also the first district in the state which will be conducting the Military Literature Festival from 27 to 30 January.
