Various Olive Ridley Turtles were released in Andaman sea at Dhaninallah Beach by the PCCF of Andaman & Nicobar Mr. Ashok Kumar. It is one of best site for mass turtle nesting.
The olive ridley sea turtle is also known as the Pacific ridley sea turtle. They are only species of turtle in the family Cheloniidae. The species is the second-smallest and most abundant of all sea turtles found in the world. Their eggs are sometimes destroyed by the native which is a threat for this species.
