Kotdwar: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has strengthened healthcare infrastructure in Kotdwar by handing over a mammography machine to Chandra Mohan Singh Negi Government Base Hospital under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The machine was handed over by Ambarish Tripathi, Director (HR), BEL, in the presence of Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, Speaker of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly.Officials from the government hospital and BEL’s Kotdwar unit were also present during the handover ceremony.

The mammography machine will add an important diagnostic facility to the government hospital and is expected to strengthen its capacity to provide breast health screening services.The initiative is aimed at supporting more accessible and timely diagnostic services for people in Kotdwar and surrounding areas.
