Nagpur: Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shri Mahalakshmi Jagdamba Sansthan (SMJSK), Koradi, to provide ₹2 crore in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) financial assistance for the development and construction of Sevanand School in Koradi.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening educational infrastructure and improving access to quality and affordable education for students, particularly those from rural, semi-urban and economically weaker sections of society.
WCL to Provide ₹2 Crore CSR Assistance for Sevanand School
Under the MoU, WCL will provide CSR financial assistance of ₹2.00 crore to support the development and construction of Sevanand School, Koradi.
The project is expected to contribute to the creation of modern educational infrastructure and provide students with improved facilities for learning and development.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Bikram Ghosh, Director (Finance & HR), WCL. The agreement was signed by Lalit Prakash Tirkey, General Manager (CSR), WCL, and the authorised representative of Shri Mahalakshmi Jagdamba Sansthan.
