Madhya Pradesh’s flagship e-Nagar Palika platform was conferred the prestigious National e-Governance Award during the 29th National e-Governance Awards Ceremony held in Jaipur. The award was presented by Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh and received by a high-level delegation from the Urban Administration and Development Department led by Commissioner Sanket S. Bhondve, an IAS officer of 2007 batch.
The delegation also included senior administrative leaders such as Additional Commissioner and 2017 batch IAS officer Divyank Singh, who played a significant role in managing the execution and statewide rollout of the platform across urban local bodies. Rolling out a unified digital governance system across more than 415 municipalities required coordinated institutional leadership, technological expertise and administrative collaboration.
The implementation was led by the Urban Administration and Development Department under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, with Commissioner Sanket Bhondve overseeing the initiative.
