Delhi: 20 IPS officers Transferred; IPS Shalini Singh Posted as Special Commissioner, Economic Offenses Branch

1999 batch IPS officer Chhaya Sharma who was Joint Commissioner EOW has now been made the Joint Commissioner of Eastern Zone (Range).

In Delhi Police, 28 top officers including 20 officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS) were moved from here on Tuesday. 1996 batch IPS officer Shalini Singh has been made the Special Commissioner of the Economic Offenses Branch (EOW). Along with this, DCPs of New Delhi and outer Delhi, Rohini districts have also been shifted. Many officers of Danips Service are also included in the transfer list released.

1999 batch IPS officer Chhaya Sharma who was Joint Commissioner EOW has now been made the Joint Commissioner of Eastern Zone (Range).

DCP (Deputy Commissioner of Police) of New Delhi, Rohini district and outer Delhi districts has also been changed. So far, Harendra Kumar Singh, who was posted at the Delhi Police Headquarters, has now been made DCP of outer Delhi district, while DCP Guguloth Amarutha, posted in New Delhi district, has been made DCP of East Delhi district.

So far, IPS Guruikwal Singh Sidhu, posted in Delhi Police Licensing Branch, has been made DCP of Rohini district. DCP Pranab Tayal posted in Rohini district has been removed and sent as DCP of New Delhi district.

2004 batch IPS officer Amarendra Kumar Singh will be Joint Commissioner Transport Range. IPS officer Rishi Pal, who was the Director of Delhi Police Academy has now been made the Joint Commissioner of the Armed Police Force. Mangesh Kashyap has been removed from security and sent to Rashtrapati Bhavan.
