Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government has assigned 55 senior IAS officers as district nodal officers for the month-long Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan 2026, which is being conducted across all 55 districts from September 17 to October 17.
The General Administration Department designated the officers to coordinate and monitor the implementation of activities under the campaign. The deployment order was issued on September 10, ahead of the campaign’s commencement.
IAS Officers to Coordinate With Collectors and Ministers
The designated nodal officers have been tasked with assisting district collectors in preparing and implementing a month-long plan for the campaign.
According to the government directions reported in connection with the deployment, the officers are required to help with the micro-planning of daily programmes, establish a system for regular monitoring and assist district administrations in preparing programmes aimed at wider public participation. They are also required to coordinate with the district’s in-charge minister and other local public representatives on the campaign’s activities and strategy.
The officers were also directed to remain in their respective districts for the full day on September 17 and participate in programmes including ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’, marking the launch of the campaign.
Campaign to Continue Until October 17
The Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan is scheduled to run for one month, with various activities, competitions and yatras planned across the districts during the period. The state government has placed senior IAS officers in the nodal role to support coordination and monitoring at the district level.
