New Delhi: In a significant round of central staffing appointments, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of two senior officers to the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
Preetinder Singh Padda has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in DPIIT for a period of four years, while Rajesh Panwar has been appointed as Director in the department for a tenure of five years.
These appointments are expected to strengthen DPIIT’s work in industrial policy, investment facilitation and economic reforms.
