Mumbai: Lal Singh, Executive Director of Bank of Baroda, has been conferred the SKOCH Challenger Award for Financial Inclusion in recognition of his contribution to advancing financial inclusion and expanding access to banking services.
The award was presented during the inaugural session of the BFSI Forum – 110th SKOCH Summit, held at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi on September 26, 2026. The summit was organised around the theme “Banking Bharat for Inclusive Growth.”
Lal Singh Receives SKOCH Challenger Award
The SKOCH Challenger Award recognised Lal Singh’s work and contribution towards promoting financial inclusion.
The award was presented by Prof. S. Mahendra Dev, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council, in the presence of the Chairman of SKOCH Group and other dignitaries.The recognition highlights efforts aimed at making banking services more accessible to people who remain underserved by the formal financial system.
