New Delhi: Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) has announced a change in its senior management team, with Manoj Kant Jha taking charge as General Manager (Finance) In-Charge with effect from September 23, 2026.
The company disclosed the change to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The leadership transition follows the transfer and release of Masapogu Satya Raju, who was serving as General Manager (Finance) In-Charge of BCCL, to another subsidiary of Coal India Limited.
Manoj Kant Jha Takes Charge as General Manager (Finance) In-Charge
Manoj Kant Jha, who was serving as General Manager (Finance) at BCCL, has assumed additional charge as General Manager (Finance) In-Charge from September 23, 2026.
Following the change:
- Manoj Kant Jha has become a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of BCCL.
- Masapogu Satya Raju has ceased to be a Senior Management Personnel of the company.
- Raju has been transferred and released to another subsidiary of Coal India Limited.
- The change is effective from September 23, 2026.
The transition represents an internal management movement within the Coal India group.

Manoj Kant Jha brings more than three decades of experience in finance, accounts and treasury management.
He holds the following qualifications:
- B.Com (Hons)
- Cost and Management Accountant (CMA)
- LLB
Jha has been associated with BCCL since September 2026. Prior to joining BCCL, he worked in various capacities across different subsidiaries of Coal India Limited.
His previous organisations include:
- Central Coalfields Limited (CCL)
- Western Coalfields Limited (WCL)
- Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL)
He has been working in the Coal India group since December 1995, giving him more than 30 years of professional experience in financial and related functions.
