1988 batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, G. Balasubramanian was on Thursday appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Presently, he is serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
