CCL Honors 115 Retiring Employees in Grand ‘Samman Samaroh’ Ceremony at Ranchi Headquarters

Central Coalfields Limited recognizes the dedication and years of service of retiring staff with shawls, mementos, and heartfelt tributes across headquarters and regional offices

Ranchi: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) held a grand “Samman Samaroh” at its headquarters in Ranchi today to bid farewell to 12 employees retiring in October 2025. Similar ceremonies were organized across the company’s regional offices, honoring a total of 115 retiring employees for their dedication and service.

Tribute to Retiring Employees

During the headquarters event, a short film capturing the experiences, memories, and reflections of the retirees was screened, leaving the audience deeply moved. The employees retiring from the CCL Headquarters include Mr. Suman Kumar (General Manager, E&M, Washery Department), Mr. Deepak Dubey (Head of Department, Cash & Fund), Mr. Sanjeev Ranjan Sinha (Chief Manager, E&M, Civil Department), Mr. Sandeep Majumdar (Office Superintendent, S&M Department), Mrs. Elin Kerketta and Mrs. Divya Gulab Tete (Matrons, Gandhi Nagar Hospital), Mr. Baleshwar Oraon and Mr. Ratanu Oraon (Senior Ward Boys, Gandhi Nagar Hospital), Mr. Paras Kumar Roy (Duplicator Operator, Cash Department), Mrs. Jamuna Bedia (Plumber, Office Maintenance Department), Mr. Tapeshwar Prasad (Assistant Supervisor, Transport, D(P) Section), and Mr. Raj Kumar Singh (Assistant Machine Man, Jawahar Nagar Colony).

Directors Praise Retirees’ Service

Mr. Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Finance), lauded the retirees, saying, “It is a moment of immense pride for the CCL family to recognize that our 115 colleagues have played a vital role in taking the company to new heights through their hard work, dedication, and honesty. We are grateful for their contribution and wish them good health, happiness, and vigor in this new chapter of their lives.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Human Resources), emphasized, “Retirement does not mark an end, but a new beginning. Your experience and dedication have strengthened the organization. The CCL family will always be grateful to you.”

Honoring Years of Service

The retirees were felicitated with shawls, bouquets, and mementos, reflecting the company’s appreciation for their years of commitment and service. The event was attended by a large number of general managers, officers, employees, and family members, making it a heartfelt occasion to celebrate the legacy of the retiring personnel.
