Mumbai: Central Bank of India has announced a senior management change with the promotion of Jai Shankar Prasad as General Manager (GM), Customer Care Department (CCD). The promotion came into effect on September 1, 2026, according to the HCM office order dated September 3, 2026.
Prasad has over 33 years of banking experience and has spent his entire career with Central Bank of India. Before his elevation as General Manager, he was serving as Deputy General Manager in the Customer Care Department.

Before his latest promotion, Prasad was working as Deputy General Manager in the Customer Care Department, making his elevation particularly relevant to the department he will now lead.

The bank has also made the information available through its Investor Relations section.
The appointment is a senior management change and does not involve any change in the bank’s Board composition. Prasad also has no relationship with any of the directors of the bank.
