The Chief Minister congratulated the newly selected officers for clearing one of India’s toughest competitive examinations and said their success has brought pride to the entire state.

UPSC Success Reflects Strength of Punjab’s Education System

Addressing the achievers, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said it is a matter of immense satisfaction that students from ordinary and middle-class families are securing top positions in the civil services.

He said this achievement reflects not only personal hard work and discipline but also the improving quality of Punjab’s education ecosystem.

According to him, Punjab’s youth are consistently performing well in national-level competitive exams, proving that talent exists in every household when proper opportunities and support are provided.

Women Candidates Shine in UPSC Civil Services 2025

The Chief Minister especially highlighted the outstanding performance of female candidates in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025.

He said daughters are excelling in every field and are becoming role models for society. Their success, he added, is a strong example of women empowerment in Punjab.

CM Mann stated that equal access to education and opportunities is enabling young women to achieve top positions in public service and other professional fields.

He further said that the growing success of women in competitive exams reflects positive social change and increasing participation of girls in higher education.

Punjab Government Focused on Education Reforms and Quality Learning

Reaffirming his government’s commitment, the Chief Minister said the Punjab Government is continuously working to strengthen government schools and improve education infrastructure across the state.

Key focus areas include:

  • Modernization of classrooms and teaching methods
  • Improvement of school infrastructure
  • Enhancing learning outcomes for students
  • Ensuring equal educational opportunities for all

He said education is the most powerful tool for social and economic transformation and the government aims to ensure quality education for every child, regardless of background.

CM Mann’s Message to Newly Selected IAS, IPS and IRS Officers

Interacting with the selected candidates, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said their success should inspire other UPSC aspirants across Punjab and India.

He urged the new civil servants to serve the nation with honesty, integrity, and dedication.

The Chief Minister also advised them to remain humble and grounded despite their success, reminding them that the true purpose of civil services is public welfare.

“True success lies in how much positive change you bring to people’s lives,” he said, emphasizing responsible governance and people-centric administration.

Parents Urged to Support Career Aspirations of Children

CM Mann also appealed to parents to support their children’s interests and career choices instead of imposing decisions on them.

He said that encouraging individual strengths and giving freedom to choose careers is essential for unlocking the full potential of young talent.

UPSC Selection Trend Shows Growing Talent from Punjab

The Chief Minister said that the consistent selection of Punjab youth in the UPSC Civil Services Examination is part of a broader positive trend.

He expressed confidence that in the coming years, more students from the state will join prestigious administrative services and contribute to nation-building.

Senior Officials Present at Felicitation Ceremony

The event was attended by Punjab Chief Secretary KAP Sinha and several senior government officials.

The felicitation ceremony in Chandigarh concluded with CM Bhagwant Singh Mann extending best wishes to all UPSC Civil Services 2025 selected candidates. He expressed hope that they will continue to bring pride to Punjab through dedicated public service and contribute positively to the development of the nation.
